Lead by example.
The US Government's faith-based initiatives program offers funding to organizations that are free to only hire members of specific religious groups. That's religious discrimination, and it should not be encouraged in the form of federal grants.

This would be an ideal world. No religious discrimination, no racial discrimation, no nothing discrimination.... As much as I would like to believe this world is possible, it isn't feasible. You can try to make a change, and make the lives of a few better in this world, but thats about it. Of course, this in itself would be a noble and great acheivement.
The problem is that there will always be a person who thinks they are right and try to force their opinion on others. There will always be people in positions of power who will exercise their viewpoints on their subordinates. There will always be brainwashing by the media, by culture, by anyone with an agenda.
All one can hope to do is to at the very least not join in and respect others' beliefs. Who cares if your muslim, christian, or atheist? (plenty of other religions, but you get the point)

Not discriminate. It's that simple, but when applied to a world scale, there's always going to be religious discrimination.

Stop forcing it onto others, stop trying to convert different religions. End all religion, and stop discriminating against atheist individuals.

Stop buying into organized mythology and realize that God, if there is one, has not revealed itself to us, that organized religion is nothing more than a sham a rehashing of previous cultures mythologies, used by those in power to keep you scared and contented with your life.

Get to know other religions. We have a lot of biases against other religion and community groups. People do not want to learn and are happy with their ignorants beliefs.

Somehow convince everyone to let people practice their religion (or lack of religion) without bashing others. Which I'm afraid isn't ever going to happen. Too many people are too full of hatred :(

As with all unjust discrimmination, legislate against it and educate people(which is the harder part). we need to speak out against governments, like China's,North Korea's or Saudi Arabia's, that persecute those who do not submit to the state religion(Communism or Islam).

nothing. as long as there are so many divergent views, all claiming to be the only correct one, there will be discrimination.
