My best friend and I have always had feelings toward eachother. Even though we were with other people before (he has 2 kids not w/ me). We have had sex numerous times. But when we tried explaing our feelings to one another we just didn't believe eachother as odd as it sounds. Before he left to Iraq we had a disagreement. But a week before he left I poured out my feelings to him and confessed my deepest love (over the phone he was in Forthood). I cried and he had never expierenced anything like it from me before. Then he kind of cried and also confessed to me. He said he wished it would of happened long before. We talked everyday and all night long until the day he left. He also told me that he wasn't going to ask me to wait for him until he got back but it was good if I did. And I sure have waited!!! I love him so much. When he first left I didn't hear from him at all until he was on leave and came down for 10 days. We hung out. he doesn't want to hear much about love now :( so idk.

i think he loves you..but the reason for not confessing alot about love and so on...or not asking u to wait for him... is that he is having an instable life..Iam not sure whether it will last or not ...but if u really care for him..then wait and sure when he feels like having a stable life..and in his own home..he will be more comfortable for confessing..!

From personal experience I say don't try to rush things when he get back. Take it a little slow because you don't know what he has seen or what he has gone thought. If you go out try taking him with you because the only going out he's been doing is really stressful. If you want to chat about this a little more just IM me and I hope this helps.

he probably doesnt want to start something serious until he gets back for good. he also prbably wants to think about a relationship with you before he commits to it. also, if he has children he will want to talk to them before you start an actual serious relationship

he has just returned from a place we can only imagine, horrible things he has seen and he probably needs time to readjust to civilian life and this will tyake some time
