Absolutely
You ask for opinions in a forum like this; and if you post a question in the religion section and want answers that are not opinions based on religion then you should ask it somewhere else on the forum.
Let one person cite the Bible, one the Torah, one the Koran, and three the covenent between Frith and the Rabits of Watership Down... if that is what someone's oppinions are based on they should cite it... unless someone specifically addresses their question to a certain group.

I think it's perfectly fine that others cite their holy books. In many cases they are true. What religion does not have rules regarding marriage, murder, and stealing? However, after thought and study, one must make decisions. I assume you have done that and have arrived at a conclusion. I have also. I am convinced that Christianity is true. Atheism won't hold water; it is too simple; it does not deal with the issue of the altruistic nature imbedded in humanity. Furthermore, Christianity is the only faith to my knowledge that attributes to God the entire work of salvation. Man receives it as a gift of His grace. All other faiths require good works. The question always is this: Have I performed enough of them? Christianity has the answer. What Christ did is enough. No other religion approaches this concept. There are other reasons to embrace Christianity, but let's leave it at that.

Others are just being stubborn about their dogma, because they devil blinded them to the truth, which I happen to have found.

I don't think they have a problem with it. They know that it comes down to who's right and who's wrong, and they believe that they're right.

Watching "dogmafighting" is like watching people pretend to swordfight with nothing in their hands.
