One of my male friends said....and I quote....."I will never commit to any woman. I will be single forever". Well, he just called me and told me that he now has a girlfriend. I'm happy for him, but I'm jealous in the same sense. Now, out of all my friends, I am the only single one! I'm 26 and I've never been in a long term relationship. I'm starting to think that there is something wrong with me. This can't be normal! I'm not as picky as I used to be, but I think that I should be somewhat choosy when it comes to potential boyfriends. As long as they approach me respectfully, I will give any man who approaches me a chance unless they are way older than me, or the same height as me. I feel like a loser. Does anyone have anything positive to say to me to make me feel better? What can I do other than wear a shirt that says "I'm single!"??? I don't want to be single anymore!

actually, wearing a shirt that says single wouldnt be a bad idea. im serious. but neways, there is nothing wrong with you!!! no one should just settle on a guy because they want a bf, you should want for the best guy there is and wait till he comes around. you only live life once, and y not live it to the fullest with the best man there is for you!
your doing just fine, life will come at u fast, just be ready for it when it comes

You need to learn to be happy with who you are first, including happy with your temporary state of being single. Once that occurs, you will be pleasantly surprised at all the men who chase you. It's a funny thing, but men want women who are happy with themselves. Good luck.

Do you first (love yourself, take care of you...) everything else will follow. Nothing abnormal with being single at all. There is someone out there for you.

Stop looking for it. And it will just happen. Oh, and trust me, there's nothing wrong with you.
