It depends on the mega-pixels of the camera. The higher the built in mega pixels the fewer pictures the memory card will hold.
Keep your eye out for a 1,2,3,4 mg. memory card on sale. You can pick up a 1 mg. card at "Wally World" (Walmart) for around $14. every day. Sales do pop up at other places for larger capacity memory cards for not a lot more cash. They are handy as the dickens when you are taking pictures, blasting away and don't have the time to view and erase every minute or two.

depends on the quality of the pictures. camera's have differnt modes.. so say each pic is 3mb ... maybe 6 or so, thats why they only give you limited memory so you have to buy a memory card with 256,512mb 1gb etc.

it all depends on what mega pixel the camera is, cause the more pixels, the bigger the photo size is...!
