I just got an orange canary & a yellow canary and need to come up w/names for them. (They're both males.)
My mom has 2 Parakeets named ANGEL & RAINBOW, a Cockatiel named JACK, a Senegal named SYDNEY, and a Congo African Grey BOBBY. Just something I felt like sharing!

I named my canaries after Elvis & the females associated with him (Pricilla - she is brown, Marilyn - she is blond, Ann-Margret - she is redfactor.)
I name my lovebirds after the Flintstones: Fred & Wilma, Barney & Betty, Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm
I name my Cockatiel after Greek Gods (Apollo) and sometimes they get a name because of the meaning (Gretal means Pearl, her color is pearl.)

are you ready?....I have a duck named milagro, cause it was a miracle he hatched at all considering my granddaughter dropped his egg twice while he was hatching, it took him three days to free himself, I could only help just so much, but he is now 3 yrs old, and lovely, a hen the size of a pigeon named spike, gave her a tough name cause she was so small. she loves to be held and she and the duck travel the yard together and are buddies. I have a dove, named,
[ doh!] dovey, that I found with a string attached to her leg and two toes missing, and a pigeon named freddy who had a eye pecked out and was almost dead, he has lived here two year now and doing fine.
