The term fruit was symbolic for man wanting to taste life as a mortal man instead of the spiritual man . Adam and Eve had everything and everything was good. They falsely believed there was pleasure in the flesh and didn't realize they would also have to experience pleasures opposite. Pain. It was their choice.Live spiritually or live mortally.

I am laughing so hard I cannot breathe!!! Reminds me of the time some idiot put out Muppet bubble bath. The one for Miss Piggy was called "Pink Banana." That wasn't funny enough, but the stuff apparently had an irritant in it that made My Steve's . . . oh, you get the idea!
