Was it just out of inpatients or was there something else?

And what about Jimmie Johnson? That was 2 races in a row where he wrecked out. But at least he is ok. Not a JJ fan, but glad to see he got out of that car so fast.

Yes, they are all impatient, they want to get up front and lead, then win.

And something nobody else has mentioned: the Brickyard is a flat track, with very little banking even in those tight corners. This means that it's almost like a road course in that there is only one best line through the turns. Everybody's used to the banked ovals, where you might be able to run any of several different lines. But trying to go 2 wide or 3 wide through Indy's turns is asking for trouble, and that's just what some people got.

The one that amazed me was Casey Mears. I'm used to him driving beyond his ability, wrecking, and taking out other cars while he's at it -- and blowing off the other drivers. That's what he's done for years now. But after his Sunday wreck, he actually *took responsibility*! And nearly apologized! I practically fell off the floor, let me tell you!

Indy is a hard race track to race on. It's such a small track, width wise, and it's hard to run 3 wide and in the turns you just get loose and spin out.
I do agree with Jimmie Johnson. I'm not one of his fans either but I'm glad he wasn't hurt and was able to get out of the car so fast.

Lots of impatient drivers trying to go 2 wide through very narrow corners.

McRedneck - What did Stewart do yesterday? Did the McBitch channel where everything is a complaint about something show another race? He didn't hit anyone (the bump was nothing and Harvick came up and Stewart had nowhere to go) or say anything negative at all.

Everyone was trying to get into the lead. They were trying to go 3 and 4 wide in the turns and that don't work. It was a crashfest. Johnson had a scary crash. Although I'm not a Johnson fan, it was good to see him get out safe.

I'm going with Papa Bill on this one.
And I think the tires were a factor also.
They said if you rubbed your hand accross the surface of the track you could feel how rough it was.

If it wasn't for the wrecks that race would have been boring as helllllllzzz... I don't like Indy cuz the races are generally boring except when guys are wrecking or on restarts...

I think alot of it was because of tires. They seems to wear more at Indy then any other track.
