I don't get tired of it. Because I correct people all the time. And even though I know the last thing you want is for someone to correct you right now, you should really know that you're supposed to drop the e before adding -ing.

Also, I'm sorry, but I can't sympathize because this thing UNDERLINES YOUR MISSPELLED WORDS FOR YOU. Not to mention there's a place to CLICK to "Check Spelling."

Dude. It takes three seconds.
Seriously.

I only get annoyed at bad spelling and/or grammar if it gets very bad, making the question hard to read. If that's the case, I'll usually just skip it rather than write an answer complaining about it, but I can understand why some people do feel the need to say something about it.

People complaining about a single spelling error are really picky; at work or school okay, but that's just stupid when it's only a forum post.

I'm not sure that I have ever corrected anyone on here, but I will admit that I am more likely to read a question and possibly answer it if it is written properly. I'm not perfect by any means, and I'm quite sure that I have made my share of spelling mistakes and typos, but I do consider the written word an extension of myself, and will therefore do my best to put my best foot forth when I want people to read what I have to say.
Using language properly is part of what defines you in this medium. If you don't want to comes across as the type of person that cares enough to check your spelling and grammar, then don't. That said, people will correct you, and you can either accept it, or put more thought into your posts.

Usually people won't pick on you unless it's pretty bad. If it's that bad, you should pay more attention to your spelling and grammar because you are making yourself look like an idiot. You may only be typing too fast, but most people wouldn't use terrible spelling and grammar when writing a letter, so don't use it while typing either. Slow down, proof read and you won't get answers telling you you're a dingbat. You will get answers to your questions. :)

I don't correct anyone, but I do get tired of constantly reading things with poor spelling, punctuation and grammar. Not just here, but other places on the Internet as well. I'm sorry, but it does make one come across as just stupid and lazy since there is a spell check for you to use. I have seen several questions asked here with no capitalization or punctuation and it makes it difficult, if not impossible, to read.

My biggest pet peeves are people who don't know the difference between there, their and they're, to and too, lose and loose.

I try to use good grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc., but I feel that it is rude to criticize others' English skills.

Sometimes those who correct you are just trying to show how smart they are instead of trying to be helpful.

Having said that, there is a built in spell checker in Y/A and I would take advantage of it. It's easy to use. Just right click on the underlined word and click on the correct spelling.

In speaking or writing it des not matter if it is mispelled or wrong grammar as long as you are able to give your point across. Jo no parlaiz franzai but budlight or boodlight the bar tender will hand me a beer.

Nobody here has ever corrected my grammar. I take care to proofread my questions and answers thoroughly before submitting them. Why would you possibly not want to write or speak (or heck--dress, act, etc.) your best all the time?

Not at all, I admire them for doing it and I do it also. Since we can't actually hear your intelligence here writing correctly is the best way to show it. It only takes a moment to use the spell checker and proofread your comment or question. Not doing that just shows laziness and lack of self-respect.

OK, ready for my thumbs down now.

DOES anyone else get tired of people correcting their grammar?

Notes:
1. Remember your auxiliary verb at the beginning of this question.
2. "Anyone" is one word.
