I do believe it is German but I do not comprehend the language. There, I ask the experts.

Here is the situation, I am going to let this go to a vote. Normally I pick the first correct answer but these are all very good. Plus this is not anywhere near my expertise and so I hope that other "language" users will vote.
Good luck and thank you for your help.

I think it is DA instead of DR. It would mean, "On the Alm ( a mountain?) it is very beautiful."

A postscript...?
"It´s nice there on the alm". An Alm is a meadow, high on a mountain in a beautiful scenery. Just a dairy, and cows with bells - no passers-by, maybe for weeks. A perfect hideaway for one (or two). That´s worth a cheering on a beer stone, isn´t it?

This is how the sentence looks like in German:

"Auf der Alm da ist es schön."

It translates as:

"On the alp / mountain pasture it is nice / beautiful / wonderful."

Choice of adjective depends on what you want to stress, the beauty of the nature or the great time you're having drinking Bavarian beer (which BTW is the best in the world ;-)
