Is this a sin?
Is that a sin?
How should I feel?
Was this wrong?
Will I be saved?
Can I go back to God after I did this?
Am I going to hell?
How many sins can I commit before....?
Would this be considered a sin?
Did I sin?
Etc.
Etc.
Etc,
And these people are over seven years old!
If religion is so right, how come these folks have to keep asking what is right?
How many things are there that you must be right about? Isn't it about God - love him or leave him?
So many rules! So little time.

A-fiquin-men!! IF the bible is the "word",. then why do people always question it? why are there so many different answers about to the same queation?!?! That is like all of us dicussing a math book asking why 1+1 =2! i mean, we all believe that 1+1 =2, no debate cause that is a fact....so since there are so many questions about the meaning of the bible, that means it must be a fiction...

That's kinda like saying, "If the constitution of the US is so great, then why do people keep asking lawyers questions?" Don't really make sense.
Religion is not "so right." I never heard a real Christian say it was.
But it's a guide, but not a step by step description of every little thing you have to do to get to where you're going. That's why God gave you a brain, a mouth to ask questions with, and friends (even cyberfriends) to pose questions to.
Only one rule, really: Love one another. But there's a zillion ways to do that.

It does sound a little like a Sunday School Class. In reality I feel so bad for them. I remember what it was like growing up Catholic and all the guilt and constant questioning of my behaviour and thoughts. It was horrible and I am still getting over it. SOME Christian Churches seem to keep their congregation child like. They want them to live in constant guilt and fear and advocate against educating themselves on other religions and possible beliefs. It's too bad really.

If they have to ask someone ELSE and are unable to find the answer withing themselves then they need to re-think their ROLE in the universe a bit deeper. People KNOW whether something is wrong or not. If it hurts ANYONE, even yourself, then it's wrong. Period. Why do you need to ask, you KNOW if what you're thinking of doing is going to harm someone.

Don't think that you're on a kiddy site because of the questions that are asked. Instead, think this is a kiddy site because people ask about religious advice/insight and then choose to ignore it because it doesn't sound pretty.

You can try all you want, but they'll keep coming. The stupid in people has to be expelled somewhere.
Still, my day feels better already for reading this
Edit: Who came in and gave everyone with a "Hear hear!" answer a thumbs down? That's pretty lame, seeing as the whole thumb thing does, uh, JACK ****!

Because sopme people, eventhough they think that they are in a stable situation with their religion, they are really just comfused, and they don't pay enough effort to the matter.

Why else do you think I left that religion? I follow my own path, and if God doesn't like it he can suck eggs. And too many people are worried 'bout doing the right or wrong thing, but that will only make the Big Man Upstairs angrier...
