That is why you cannot follow a religion - religion/s are man made and not the word of God as they make out to be. Each religion claims to be the right way to God and that the other religion is "wrong".... yet they all proclaim that there is only one God. So how do you know who is right and who is wrong? Religions are geographical, you born in China, you autmaitcally most probably be a Buddhist, born in the West then you most probably a Christian and so on. Religions cause wars and people KILL in the name of God. So one must question the validity of religion.
The Bible is based on the Christian religion as you know, but it is not the way of God, it is the way of man, and there are many many parts of the Bible that have been left out. In the Gospel of Judas, when the diciples were saying grace, Jesus laughed at them and they asked why he was doing so, he answered that they were praying to an inferior God. This is the God that is in charge of this realm. Basically the devil, his real name is Kal. He is the one that wants to keep your soul on this plane. But the Bible does not tell you this.
The Bible also does not tell you that in order to get really close to God you have to be a vegetarian and they also left out an in-depth discussion on karma. They mention it briefly by saying "what you sow, so shall you reap". Religions are all the doings of this inferior God called Kal who wants to trick people and keep souls in this domain where there is no real happiness. This is a kind of hell where people are slaves to their egos.
You cannot even pray for things, if you pray for material possessions Kal will give them to you, but at a price. Nothing is free in this life. You want that car, you will have to work very hard to get that car and then the upkeep of that car, guard that car, insure that car, etc. You become a slave to the things that you want. The more possessions, the more possessed.
The bible and other religions also do not teach you how to actually reach God, they teach you to look for God on the outside like in Churches, Mosques and Temples. When, after all, he is on the inside. You see, you must just not beleive everything you read. You cannot be taught by a dead teacher or be healed by a dead doctor, yet they follow the teaching (or so called teachings) of Jesus and other past saints. You have to find a true and living saint to be taught the way to eternal salvation.
There always have been saints on this earth to help people realise the way out of this place. What happened to the people before the time of Jesus??? Were they automaitcally doomed to hell and were "unsaved" because there was no Jesus and no religion before?? That does not make sense and would then autmatically make God out to be an unfair God? Right? So if you are in doubt and you are searching, don't go to a religion for the right answers - they will not tell you the whole truth. You must follow the teachings of the present day Saints. You question the fact that there are saints in this present day?? Well there were saints before, why should there not be saints now - just because a book told you perhaps? You see the Bible is twisted to suit a certian group at that time, it was written 600 years after the death of Christ so how on earth they remembered his exact teachings and words I do not know. It is like the pass the sentence game where people add or totally screw it up. Then some people say that the Bible is God inspired - yes this may be true, but once again this statement comes from the Bible which was written by man. There are many twisted stories in the Bible. Don't beleive it - it's not true. It will do you more damage and it is very hypocritical and judgemental.

Judas was Jesus's treasurer. He kept track of the monies that were donated. Judas did have a relationship with Jesus, but no more than the other apostles. The gospel according to Judas wasn't authored by Judas and should be considered suspect, especially in lieu of the fact that it was written years later.

You made me laugh! First off, who wrote the "Gospel of Judas" and what is the good news in it? Furthermore, why should it be given place over God's inspired Word? The Bible didn't and doesn't twist anything. It gets twisted a lot, but it does not twist anything. The truth of the Bible is clearly and boldly stated. If Judas was so faithful and dependable a source, why did he betray Jesus, and why did he hang himself afterwards and not seek forgiveness?

For the same reason that the other Gospel of Judas (Gospel of Thomas) was not included. Too complex metaphorically. In 'The Gospel of Thomas' Jesus' words were written down by Judas Didymous Thomas (meaning twin in Greek and Hebrew).
Jesus message was about the required death of the learned ego identity for resurrection of the essential nature/authentic Self. Without understanding the Gospel of Thomas, full comprehension of the canonical Gospels is not possible as the meeting of psychology and physics, being and reality.
Probably, Judas a derivitive of Judah/Judea, is Jesus' label/name for his earthly self as opposed to his authentic Self/Christ Self and every indication is that he wrote the Gospel of Thomas. Judas represents the body-level egoic self - containing parts such as 'doubting Thomas' and 'Judas the betrayer.' We all have to battle our little learned identity to become wholly (holy) our true Self and fulfill our purpose which is his primary theme.

The Gospel of Judas was not written by Judas. It was written at least 100 years after Jesus died. The Bible has not twisted anything. The so-called "lost" gospels that were written long after His death and named after famous people are unreliable to say the least.

Because that book is an uncanonical book that is not recognized to have been written by judas, at that time there were many psuedopigrapha or false writings, which was fairly common practice in that day and times. It is actually be proven not even have been written till hundreds of years later.

True. The story was twisted from the retelling of it. When it was finally put to words on paper, the real truth had been lost. It's human nature for someone to take the fall if something goes wrong. Judas was loved by Jesus and he merely fulfilled God's plan. I believe he was an unwilling participant and money had nothing to do with it.

Okay, so let me get this straight. If you had three eyewitnesses, the testimony of a fourth that spoke to other eyewitnesses, they wrote their accounts relatively soon after the fact (fifteen to sixty years), and their accounts pretty much agreed with each other...you'd believe a fifth person whose account came from MUCH later (at least a hundred years), who was NOT an eyewitness, didn't even SPEAK to eyewitnesses, and whose account was completely different from the other four?
Give me a break. It wasn't Matthew, Mark, or John that twisted the story, and it wasn't Luke either.

Several of the "Lost Gospels" state that others were closer to Jesus then those who were "canonized" in the Bible. Who knows why they were left out. Perhaps those who were at councils were closer followers of the disciples that were put in. It's an interesting read either way.
Yes it was written long after he died, or at least the found copy was. But so where most other gospels. That is not a compelling argument people.

Are you going to put the word of a document written after the apostles died over ones that were written by the apostles and their associates? Historically, you should put more weight on the primary documents than on the secondary documents.
