Lean beef and pork are also good choices. Any cut that ends in -loin is generally lean.

Go to food network's website and look up Ellie Krieger. She's a nutritionist and her recipes are often easy. Or go to the bookstore or library and get Kathleen Daelman's book: "Getting Thin and Loving Food." She has recipes for REAL people who like to eat REAL food. (You won't be bored, unless you're really really really picky.)

I get Gorton's baked fish and Bird's Eye steamed vegetables for dinner. I can get 2 meals out of that if I add a salad or rice or something. you can microwave them. I like hummus on pita, too. tuna is good. you can get tuna salad and crackers in a little kit. not sure what brand, though.

A cup of yogurt and a piece of crunchy fruit or veggie can be satisfying. I like to stir breakfast cereal into my yogurt to make it a little crunchy.
