Grants are usually awarded for books and the education itself. There are some however that can be used to housing. Try the FAFSA for starters, what ever money isn't used he gets back and can use towards room and board. Also as I saw mentioned Fastweb is a great site. Also check your local town halls and things, some of the restaurants even have scholarships available. The school gets the money and the leftovers either roll over or get cut in a check.

www.fastweb.com is a great site.
Also, fill out the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and try and get the parents plus loan.
Never pay to fill out the fafsa and never pay for a scholarship search...EVER!

Have your son try these:

McDonalds
Burger King
Taco Bell
local grocery store
local bars.

Sounds like he may need to get a part-time job to help with the expenses.

Just Google your request and tons and tons of websites will show up.

There's plenty of free money for college and you gotta go out and find it!

Also google FAFSA; they are one of the main financial aid sites on the Net.
