why is it always the selfish arrogant stuck up jerks always gets the girls while the nice caring humble churchgoing fellow does not? girls always say that they wish they'd just meet a nice guy but you girls never go out with them. why do girls go after the jerks and not the real gentlemen?

For the exact same reason that nice girls finish last. Me, personally I've dated guys and they've turned out to be real jerks. So, I thought I'd start dating guys that go to my church as it turned out they were jerks too. I'm too old for the games. I wish I could find that " Mr. Right" you know the caring,respectful, thoughtful, passionate,cute (doesn't hurt) , humble type of man. But, I've come up with this theory those guys are either : gay, dead, or in jail.

Girls to tend to go after jerks. I always found that the hot girls in HS always went out with the jerks. Then they got pregant. At some point the guy never settle down or leaves her. Now the girl is stuck with a kid.
In my early to mid twenties, all these girls with kids started coming around. But I wasn't good enough when I was younger?
No... I wouldn't talk to these girls with kids. I married a hot 19 year old when I was 25, she had no kids. So, no, nice guys don't ALWAYS finish last...

Back in the day, a good woman friend of mine was a bartender in New Jersey, I used to go to the bar and play a character I called Bob Noxious, the most annoying, nasty guy anyone could ever want to meet.
I did this just to make her laugh, which she did because B.N. was so different from the real me.
But the people in the bar didn't always know me. I had to be careful not to get into fights with guys (I can't fight for spit), and I was shocked to find that Bob Noxious did much better picking up girls than I did.
But here's the real punchline... I soon learned that I wanted nothing to do with the girls that were attracted to Bob Noxious. They were mostly tramps with low self-esteem who felt safer with crappy guys because If you lose a man like Bob Noxious, it's not gonna break your heart...Check it out yourself -- tie a bandana around your head, get an ugly fake tattoo and get out there and be Bob Noxious. You'll get girls that way. You won't enjoy it.

Blah, blah, blah...Sorry but these kinds of whiney posts get old.
ALL guys finish where they choose to finish. The 'bad boys' don't get all the girls, nor do they get every girl they go after...one difference is though they don't whine about the one's they didn't get. They brush it off and move on.
I know PLENTY of nice guys who are in relationships, so the idea that nice guys never get a girl is untrue. Just because you haven't gotten someone or you were rejected by someone you desired, doesn't mean "nice guys finish last". It means you need to just press on and understand that the ones that reject you, aren't a good match for you.
Do you think every chick gets the guy she's hoping to be with? Life just doesn't work that way sugar...chin up and have more confidence in yourself. I can guarantee you the "woe is me, no girls want me because I'm a nice guy" attitude won't score ya points with too many chicks.

That is a good stinkin question! I personally DO like the nice, caring, humble, church going fellows :-) I think it is just the girls fault. You just keep being that good guy and the right girl will come! Us girls are just confusing like that usually...but not all girls are!

This question has come up every day (seems like it). I think as long as you are confident, have a sense of humor and take a chance by being outgoing, you will meet women who are interested in more than superficial traits. But some nice guys are shy and that translates in fewer chances to connect.

Where have you been looking for girls?? And a peice of advice. Don't look too hard- Just be yourself and know that when nice guys finish last, what they have lasts much longer than what the guys who finish first .

Because just like you, they see something HOT and go after it.
Nice guys finish last should only really apply to sex.
God will take care of you after you die. Heaven is so cool, you won't even need a partner or a wife.

It could be that opposites attract. But when they get older they look for the nice guys. They are tired of the way the JERKS treat them.

Girls like the rebellious guy, but they end up growing out of the phase and figure out it's better to be with the good boy. So, just be patient and you'll find the perfect girl for you.
