Am I wrong and selfish?
I was driving to pick up burger king. The nearest burger king is about 20 min. away from my home. When I got to the burger king i heard a loud "boom" I looked and all the air was coming out of my tire. I blew a tire.
I phoned my boyfriend up and he told me he had no idea how to change a tire and that he couldn't help me. I was very upset and this nice man in the parking lot saw I was upset. He stopped by and helped me change the tire and put on a spare. To my dismay my spare was ALSO flat!
The man had left so I was unable to ask him to assist me again. I phoned my boyfriend told him I was at the burger king and that I really needed a ride. His friend that's living with him got on the phone and asked me to pay him $15.00 in order to pick me up. I was very angry!
My boyfriend got back on the phone and said he had work in an hour and it was a far drive to the burger king. I was almost crying! I had been stuck there since 10AM now it was 12:00!

I got into a huge fight and just said come pick me up. He got there and was really angry at me. He told me he didn't know how to change a tire but he would drive me home and I could find someone who did. I'm home now waiting for a friend of mine to give me a ride back to the burger king to get my car!
I didn't end up having to pay my boyfriend any money but the way he acted really upset me. He told me I was being selfish for expecting him to come down to burger king to pick me up!
I had tried calling NUMEROUS other people but nobody I know had the day off today aside from my boyfriend!

Your boyfriend is an idiot. You were being waaaaaaaaay selfish for needing his help when you were in a bind. That's way selfish! Wait...no, that's not right. He's being the inconsiderate, selfish jerk for not wanting to help his girlfriend. Be wary of this behavior as it might get worse with time.

i would dump him...i mean this was a simple problem that he could have fixed easily, but instead he had a huge PMS moment and acted like a jerk...just think of it this way, if he has that much troulbe helping you in a small situation, then how will he be able to help you when you REALLY need it? hes not worth your time and you cant count on him...hes rediculous

Your boyfriend does not seem to be putting your relationship as a priority in his life. This should be a warning sign to you that he is more interested in his own needs and less interested in meeting yours. If you are ok with this, keep seeing him. if not and it makes you mad, upset as you seem to have indicated, it is time to move on and find someone else who is more interested in you than himself.
True relationships are built upon mutual love and support and are not one sided. He should have put all else aside and come and helped you. Time to move on.

1) get AAA
2)get a new boyfriend- leaving you stranded and then getting mad at you puts him in LOSER status in my book. He couldn't have called someone for you? A tow truck or something? C'mon!
