My black lab doesnt want to be picked up by her belly. She growlls and gets irritated. And I'm just not sure how to solve the problem. Because my Little sister insists on picking her up by her belly.

Have u taken her for a check up? There may be a possiblility that she has Hernia...and when someone picks her up it pains her.

Most dogs are uncomfortable with being picked up by the belly. They feel insecure or fearful of being dropped. Try picking your dog up, not only by the belly, but also holding and securing the hind legs under your arm. If the dog feels secure and safe, it will be ok with being picked up.
