God reveals his truth to those who love and seek his truth.
No one finds God wihtout receving revelation which comes from faith which comes from seeking the truth. It is not by our wisdom we know God but by his revelation.

We without a doubt have to find him!! As we go through our lives we take different rodes and open and close many door's but God is alway's where he is. (In Heaven) He know's where we are because he put us here! How do we know when we actually have found him? Does he answer all our prayer's? I don't think so. Just because God doesn't answer a prayer doesn't mean he hasn't heard it. Sometimes the answer's NO!! There are some word's in a song that might help when the answer's no,"Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayer's".... No may mean that he's waiting for the right question!!! JG

Christians believe God is in everyones lives.
People who look for God and never find him are looking in all the wrong places.
People who think they don't need him, will find him when they leave expect him because thats how he works.
I'm not christian because I just can't seem to get my head around this 'God' thing..
However, I live my life by the 10 commandments and help people whenever i can.. I believe in Karma, and that good things happen to good people..
The God thing maybe works in this way..
You only find God if you deserve to find God..

Using common sense, god is not here on earth so we cannot actually find him.

If a person wishes to experience the peace and happiness that god desires for all people equally, the best way to accomplish that would be to live by the simplest truest expression of the gospel that He gave: Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You.

When people treat others the way they would like to be treated they have found the essence of godlike behavior, if they do not live the simple golden rule they will never truly understand Him.

The answer depends on whether you are an Armenianist or a Calvinist. Both sides can be supported by scripture, but neither side can be proven until we get to Heaven.

Personally, I am what is known as a "theological Calvinist" and a "practical Armenianist".

I feel that Calvin's views on predestination better mesh with a sovereign, omnipotent God. Basically, the God choses who is to be saved, and that I do not have the power to save myself. There is nothing I can do that makes me any more appealing to God or worthy of His grace. If I could do anything to make me better, then grace would not be grace, it would be merit.

However, I feel that the Armenianist viewpoint best coincides with sin and our responsibility to that. If I do not choose what I do, then there is no sin and I have no responsibility for my actions, but if I do choose, then there is sin and I am responsible for my actions. Armenianism says the latter.

Theological Calvinism-Practical Armenianism seems (IMO) to fit best with scripture, which says that God is sovereign and that we are His elect as well as saying that we sin and that we must show our faith through our actions.

Do we look for Him or does He look for us? My answer is, "Does it matter?"

It is the duty and responsibility of the child to go all out and search for his father just as it is the responsibility of the father to do same.
The soul (humanity) and the Supreme Soul (God) lived together in the incorporeal world/soul world/the land beyond sound bodiless like stars from where we came down on earth to take human bodies to play our parts in the world drama cycle. That was barely 5000 years ago.
According to the drama plan God has to come on earth (Hell), take on loan an old, decayed and impure body to meet His children who have become body conscious and full of devilish traits and makes them soul conscious once again.
So for now it is God who is searching for His children who having gone through reincarnation have become very impure, and totally decayed and teach them how to become pure once again and take them back home with Him.
Honestly, except that it is in your fortune there is no way you can see or find God.
The truth is that God has come and continues to come on earth yet the world does not know. He being a Spirit and bodiless, He urgently needs a physical body to enable Him to speak. So, He incarnates into an impure body else how can He speak?
This is the secret which people find it very difficult to believe and accept and so it is only those whose fortune it is to meet Him who have found Him and continue to chit chat with Him.
Your earthly father is just one of the many fathers you have had in your journey of reincarnation. So for every birth, you have new parents, new religion, new name, new profession, new body either male or female, etc. This is to say that our earthly parents are merely to give us birth and that we all have the same parents-God notwithstanding our religious beliefs, colour, tribe and all
I have had the fortune of meeting and seeing God and it is your right as a child of God to look for your Father before it becomes too late.

By Gods very nature worship is due to him. I find worship to be a marvelous engaging act that gives me hope and peace while giving my creator and redeemer his due.
The thing is there are attributes of the Spirit which is love, peace, joy, patience, kindness ,goodness, faithfulness and self-control. There are also works of the flesh i.e. envy ,hate strife, drunkenness, sexual immorality. The lessons is, against the fruit of the spirit there is no law because it produces community; against the works of the flesh there is a law because it produce confusion and leads to destruction. The flesh works are leading to the wrath of God while the fruits of the spirit leads to everlasting life providing one has searched for Jesus with their whole heart which he promised will not be in vain. God is sovereign and there is a prescribed way with a promise but to have him find someone and save them just proves he is the King of Hearts.

A little of both, I think. We all search for truth, whether we realize it or admit it or not. Some seek God and find Him, some are just seeking for something and He finds them. In some cases, people seek God and He still finds them. Others never find Him.

This is not a hide and seek game. God created us. He knows what he created. You are a child of most high God. Expect greatness my friend. God will never deny you his love. Talk out loud to him and thank him for every day that you are alive. Nothing like the Present time. Life and everything around us is God's Present to us beacause we are his children. Don't confuse things, it is very simple.

My Native beliefs are that God is with us all the time. In everything around us. Not to sound too hokey but the power of God is in everything we touch. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like Yoda...but it's up to us to find God....although He's right there in front of us..It's hard to explain in just a few words. I can only know it as an Arapaho.

I'll give you a lopsided opinion.
The Bible says that no man gets saved unless he is first called of God. What moves God to pick someone? I believe it takes the heart felt prayer of a believer or even better several believers to move God to choose us. He then offers us the opportunity to choose Him. He will continue for along time. Sending His Holy Spirit to nudge you to notice Him. Waiting patiently for all unbelievers to come home as the prodigal .
God Bless!
