If you have some moral objection to abortion... just don't get one. Everyone has different values, beliefs, and moral obligations. Your personal rights and beliefs end at the beginning of your personal space bubble.

By creating laws against abortion you are only making it more dangerous for those who need to have abortions. Believe it or not the fetus is a part of the woman's body until that umbilical cord is severed, and therefore it is as much her right to have it removed just as it is to have her appendix or tonsils removed.

If you really believe it makes god angry and should be stopped, why worry unless you yourself get one? Let the one's who decide to have an abortion suffer the consequences of their own actions, be they real or imagined... Live YOUR life, and worry about YOUR responsibilities.

very well said..... we could use the same argument for alcohol, marijuana, and drugs.... let each person decide his/her own path. and face the natural consequences of their actions.... its never as bad as bible thumpers make it out to be anyway..... Freedom from religion is just as important as freedom of religion....

I agree that 20 weeks is in basic terms too a ways alongside to have an abortion. Its sixteen weeks in some places. i know as quickly as I lived in AZ, they does not enable abortions after 12 weeks except there replaced into something medically incorrect with the mummy like if she has the toddler, she might desire to lose her existence or something like that. My buddy replaced into 24 weeks alongside while she found out her toddler had downs syndrome. someplace between 24 - 26 weeks, there have been greater problems. The record advised her that the toddler does not stay previous a 300 and sixty 5 days and if does, it may well be a vegetable. She had a 2d opinion and comparable element. She had greater assessments accomplished and the end result wad worse. She had to have an abortion at 30 weeks, yet they did not evaluate it an abortion because of the fact they brought on my buddy to flow in to hard artwork. She held her toddler for the 1st time and the toddler took one breath and held my pals finger.

I am against abortion but I have yet to see an arguement outside of the Bible. There is a defintion of when life begins though. No partial births are WRONG. I just can't accept otherwise but we now have a law for that. I'm torn on this one, even as a woman. I believe in the choice...for the most part.
BUT if we ever do make abortion illegal then money needs to be pumped into birthcontrol and sex ed. You can't have it both ways.

I'm torn. My religion states "harm none and do as you will", which in my mind rules out abortion, since you are indeed harming someone.

On the other hand, putting an unwanted child into the world is also - in a way - harming them. If it's just some rich brat who had a one-night stand and is fully capable of supporting the child, well, that's a little different.

I mean, yes, keep a child out of misery. But on the other hand, the child has no choice.

Some will never accept your views, my friend. There are people who believe it is good to force others not to have an abortion, and there are some who believe they are doing the right thing for the sake of the population. Unfortunately, many people will think only of their own personal beliefs before the rights of others, and that wil interfere with whatever occurs during abortion. Sad world, really.

The Christians view every life as sacred...sort of. I'd recommend an old Monty Python skit when they have to donate the kids to science as mandatory viewing in this regard.

However, something a lot of people miss is that crime is down...not because of gun laws...not because of drug laws...

Crime has dropped in society since around 14 or 15 years after Roe v. Wade. With less unwanted children, there seems to be less need to hurt others.

They think it's murder because of their irrational belief in souls.

And while I would say it's a bad thing if done too late (say, after the brain develops), that's almost never the case. When it *is* the case, it's usually to save the mother. This makes for an ethical dilemma for the mother, but it should be *her* choice, not some activist's.

kill an unborn baby is a horrible crime.I´m still wondering how a woman can kill her own creature. I understand the fact of a violation but a person who has been violated can bring that baby to the world and give it to a person who can give it love. women think about it,please do not abort, if you don´t want it give it to others.

It's based on Christian idealism, and in my opinion, propagated mostly by the Catholic church for the same reason that they don't allow birth control. The more couples that are in their herd, the more offspring that will be born into their dogmatic culture.

Laws against all abortions would be unconstitutional.
