I have several pepper plants growing and i am wondering whether it's possible to take branches from the pepper plants and graft them onto a single pepper plant. All of the peppers i want to graft are from the same genus.

Yes they can, but don't expect a high sucess rate. Tomatoes can also be grafted, the technique is used by some people to grow giant tomatoes by grafting several plants together to provide more roots to a single vine.
