Pretend that you are given a controll pad with a single button on it. Each time you press it, your bank account goes up by 1 million dollars. The catch is that each time you press the button, one randomly selected person on the earth (other than yourself) is killed. Would you do it? If so, how many times would you press it?

I wouldn't press it once. Money is worthless when it comes to someones life. Yes I know people die everyday and it's sad. But who would really wanna be the cause of someone else's own death. If someone doesn't care they probably don't have a life. And no amount of money could give them one.

I would not press it. There's enough death out here. Who would want to make it worse. Besides, even if I did have all that money I would be depressed and sad. I'd rather be poor and happy than to be rich and depressed. I would probably throw it away or have it destroyed.

I couldn't do it because there are too many people that I love that it could end up killing. Money can't replace your loved ones. And even if it were someone I didn't know, that would still be someone else's loved one. Life is something we should cherish, even if it isn't our own.

No. There are plenty of people I'd have no trouble selecting, but random would not work for me.

Hey! This is not fair..................True that you may many things in life about wishing people dead but in reality do you really wish them dead?
For a million dollars is it worth losing people you love and respect?

I would not want anyone to suffer for my greed, weather I know them or not!!!

This system already exists. It's called "paid assassin".

But, if I were given the device you describe, I wouldn't use it because any device that misspelled "control" is probably defective.

sadly, as much as I'd like to say I wouldn't, I would... just once then throw it in a 43 foot hole in the ground.
