By searching at morewords.com I found 127 words ending with y that are at least 18 letters long. I am not sure you will find these very useful, but here they are. If you want something a little different, I've included directions at the end of this.

27 letters - 1 word:
* electroencephalographically

25 letters - 1 word:
* immunoelectrophoretically

24 - 2 words:
*electrocardiographically, microelectrophoretically

22 - 5 words:
* electroencephalography, electrophysiologically, intercomprehensibility, microspectrophotometry, spectrophotometrically

21 - 9 words:
* antiferromagnetically, clinicopathologically, dendrochronologically, electromyographically, intersubstitutability, photolithographically, psychophysiologically, psychotherapeutically, stereomicroscopically

20 - 18 words:
* chemotherapeutically, counterrevolutionary, crystallographically, existentialistically, immunocytochemically, immunohistochemistry, indistinguishability, microphotometrically, neurophysiologically, neuropsychiatrically, overenthusiastically, photoautotrophically, plethysmographically, psychopathologically, roentgenographically, syncategorematically, ultramicroscopically, uncharacteristically

19 - 41 words:
* anthropocentrically, anthropomorphically, characterologically, chromatographically, cinematographically, conceptualistically, contradistinctively, counterinflationary, crosslinguistically, electrocardiography, electromagnetically, electromechanically, electrophoretically, electroretinography, exhibitionistically, expressionistically, extralinguistically, extraterritoriality, histopathologically, historiographically, hypersusceptibility, immunocytochemistry, impressionistically, incomprehensibility, individualistically, interconvertibility, interdepartmentally, interferometrically, microelectronically, multidimensionality, nonrelativistically, otorhinolaryngology, overproportionately, paleogeographically, parthenogenetically, pharmacodynamically, phenomenalistically, phytogeographically, psychotomimetically, symptomatologically, unconstitutionality

18 - 50 words:
* anthropocentricity, autobiographically, characteristically, claustrophobically, collectivistically, counterintuitively, disproportionately, distinguishability, electrooculography, electrophotography, geochronologically, histocompatibility, hypercoagulability, incommensurability, inconsequentiality, indiscriminatingly, interchangeability, intraventricularly, magnetostrictively, metallographically, microcrystallinity, neuroendocrinology, ophthalmologically, oscillographically, overoptimistically, phenomenologically, photosynthetically, propagandistically, psychoanalytically, psychopharmacology, quantificationally, representationally, roentgenologically, sedimentologically, semiconservatively, semiprofessionally, semiquantitatively, somnambulistically, spectrofluorometry, spectrographically, spectroheliography, stereospecifically, stoichiometrically, submicroscopically, tachistoscopically, transformationally, ultracentrifugally, ultrarevolutionary, unconstitutionally, unenthusiastically

Then the lists become VERY long! So I will just list the number.

17 (147 words)

16 (269 words)

15 (419 words)

To see those words that are 15, 16 or 17 letters long, or others that are not quite that long, this is how you can find them

1) Go to this web site:
http://www.morewords.com

2) In the search box, type a set of dashes, followed by y. For instance, if you want 10-letter words, type nine dashes followed by y.

3) Press "Search for words" and the page will give you a list of the words of that length that end with y.

General rules: if it ends in "ly" it is an adjective, otherwise, ending in "y" has good chance of being a noun. To make plural "ies" replaces the "y"
