Alpine

I already bought the Pioneer but I can get a refund and get the Alpine. I coulda sworn the Alpine sounded a looooot louder. Ont he same volumes. But Pioneer had more controls. Will Pioneer be loud too?

The Alpine has better FM Sensitivity and CD Signal-To-Noise. Is that why it's louder?

I'm runnin two 6x9 pioneers and 2 memphis speakers with two tweeters

"Louder on the same volume" doesn't mean anything at all when comparing two radios of different brands. They may have completely different volume scales; if the Pioneer goes to 50 and the Alpine goes to 30, then obviously the Alpine will sound louder when they're both set to 15. Also, the bass and treble controls may have been set differently on the two models you listened to. The test is whether one can get louder than the other without audible distortion. Chances are they'll both sound pretty similar.

Get the one with the features and controls you like. They're both good quality decks.
