You have discovered a great flaw in the myth. God must either be imperfect or not have infinite power. If Satan does so much harm, why not just kill him? Logic compels us to believe the whole myth was created to control ignorant people, and the flaws are proof of its origin.

I'm not Christian, so take this with a grain of salt if you wish, but I believe God knew all along. I don't believe in God as "the Heavenly Father", Jesus Christ (no offense Jesus... I do like his teachings on life), the Ultimate Good Guy, and so on; I think of God as the collective, fully enlightened, consciousness of existence. Therefore, as Christianity says, God is all-knowing, everywhere, everywhen, and within everyone --- even Satan. I believe there is a balance in creation between dark and light, and Satan (though I use this name in reference to your question, not that I think of there being a red skinned lord of the dark exactly) is the "neccisary evil". In JudeoChristian terms, who better for the job, than God's number 1 angel?
That being said, understand, I think of God as all-encompassing, good & evil. The balancing primal emotions everyone feels - love & fear. (love - you are driven toward something, selfless, giving. fear - you run away, self preserving) Both emotions can be a help or a hinderance, depending on the situation. It takes a calm intelligence to know what is best.
The darkness/evil/fear has been givin the name Satan. (by the way, the Arabic translation simply means "adversary")
The light/good/love is called God by many, but I don't think this is right. If God is only the good, he could not be the creator. Creation requires destruction sometimes. How could pure good destroy? How could pure good create evil?
It can't. God is both. Pure Love has no name in Christianity I am aware of. It's a shame too. People say they have faith in God to know what's best, then blame God for evil or assign the blame to the devil instead. I say there is no Satan save what we create in our minds, and thank God for the shadows so we can appreciate the light.

Well, I don't know that I have seen anywhere in the Bible that God is omniscient... I am certain that that particular word does not occur

However, I think God did know that Satan would rebel because I think He may have created Satan to rebel so that He could finally have a challenge to deal with... that's just my perspective because I think that it could be possible that He got bored with limitless power

I think God knew that Satan was gonna rebel him before creating him because he is the almight God, of course. I'm sure he did everything for a reason.

God knew, but he also gave satan free will. God did this because he will be glorified with or without satan, and he wanted to show this to us. With or without you or me, he will be glorified....see the link? So he knew, and of course God is omniscient.

(I am not trying to call us satan or anything but the ones who goes against Gods will, like satan, are considered as part of the 1/3 of the angels that followed him)

please remember that this is a flaw that is limited to christianity.

in Judaism, there was no rebellion. in fact in Judaism angls did not have free will as we do, and thus could not rebel.
in the Old Testament, "The Satan" is a role filled by an angel, under God's command. it is not evil or bad, or rebellious, or anything like that. merely god's prosecuting attourney.

This is a catch 22:

1. If a god created evil to destroy humans, then he is a vindictive and cruel player in a game of his own rules.

2. If a god didn't make evil...then something else did.

Whichever way it goes, it doesn't look GOOD!

God knew, but as always he gave us a choice. Satan chose to rebel. But God still has a plan for this Earth. A plan that some scoff at.

Satan rebel? Angels are simply God's messengers -- they have no power of their own. Satan serves as the accuser -- he is there to point out our shortcomings. He serves at God's will. We all have our own private evil inclinations.

God allows freedom of choice there for he must allow it. Other wise love would not exist.

I'm not sure people even think about it. They think they have a catch 22 but they cant see the road cause all they can see is the ditches (the extremes and not the middle road). Or they can't see because they are blinded by what they want to see. Can you have love with out freedom to choose to love? I think not.
