I would not suggest you try to "knock" it out; you will leave root behind that has live nerve tissue in it which will cause you to experience severe pain leaving you no choice but to see a dentist for its removal, which is what you should do in the first place. It is easier, safer, more aseptic, and lastly, less painful to see your dentist for this procedure. Good luck.

Piece of string attached to the tooth and the door handle - then shut the door fast - the tooth will get torn from its loose positioning. Failing that - a pair of ordinary pliers might assist.
Of course if its a back toothe then you have to handle it differently - you'll have to get someone else to hold you down and pull the wretched stinger out from under you.

I suggest you to go to a dentist to do that. It is too dangerous to do it at home, whether the tooth is loose or not. If you break the tooth and some of them left inside the gum you will be in a lot of trouble and pain.

Ok here u have 2 options go to the dentist and have it pulled or do waht i do ussully get a pair of pliars lay down on someones lap then yank the tooth out trust me it kinda hurts but ive been doing that for a long time make sure to have plentey of toilet paper for the blood ;]
