Yeah I'm betting its something like the mormon faith with the talking lizards :), which also goes to nobody really knows what Global Warming is except those that are the ones really pushing it and they don't even know what it is......So in someways yeah I think Global Warming could easly be argued as a religion.........................Really makes you think :)

Al Gore is preaching the word on climate change. That has nothing to do with religion unless you consider that God created the heavens and earth.

It might piss off God big time to turn the other cheek while others trash the planet.

You need to look at what's behind the two "preachers".

Behind the TV evangelist is the Bible. That may or may not be truth, and I don't care to argue about it.

Behind Al Gore is science. I'll argue the truth of that science any time.

No. Comparing two dissimilar things does not make them similar, no matter how much you want it to. I could compare fast food restaurants to temples, and their employees to priests and monks, but that would not, in the famous words of Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise, make it so.

How the hell is a scientific fact the same as worshiping a deity?

A more accurate comparison is AlGore to Hitler. Both demonized opponents in a mad grab for power.

No, it means that Al Gore isn't a scientist.
