why do u love ur dog?

Question

i love my dog because he is like a brother to me. he is always there when i need a shoulder to cry on. he always protects me. he really brought me out of my shell. before i got him i was shy. i didnt have friends. now i am a social butter fly and i have a lot of friends. in order to take care of him properly i had to talk to people like the vet and just random people that asked about him. and it helps that he is a beautiful dog. here is a pic of him. if u could provide one that would be awesome.

he is no different than any other dog. he has been there for me when i needed him most. like when we got our kittens and they were way to young to be away from their mother. he took them in and layed by them and warmed them up and was their mother. or when we found a sick little puppy that needed surgery he was there to lay by him and play with him and keep him company. he is the most loving dog. he loves it when new animals come into our house. he loves nursing animals back to health and being like a mother to them. he was there for me when my Kitty died. July 7, 2006. and most of all he was there for me when we had to give up that puppy that we found. dogs like sammy and chase dont come by too often. but when they do it is really special. i saved sammy from a horrible fate and he turned around and saved me from myself. and i will always be greatful

He is beautiful. I never heard a story like yours before. That is wonderful. I have a 110 lb Rottwieler. I love my dog because he makes me feel like the most important person in the world. When I leave he gets upset, when I come home he is excited, he has nightmares in his sleep and when I wake him up from them he snuggles up against me really close, I take him to the dog beach when I go to Florida and he is the happiest boy in the world but always takes time out to come back an play with me. He even shares his bones. I wake up in the morning and he is sitting next to my bed and his bone is on my chest because he just put it there. Sometimes he just wants to snuggle and he will come sit next to me on the couch and fall asleep. He makes me feel important and needed and that is always a good thing.

My beautiful Lab (Thunder) died on July 6, 2007

I still love him. He was so devoted to me, he was there when I cried and when I laughed. I never went for a walk without him, he loved going for walks. He also loved going for a ride in my truck (the front seat). He would always sleep with me and wake me up when the sun started to shine. If I had a treat in my hand I would say "whisper" and he would move his mouth but never let out a sound. He loved butterflies and would lie out on the grass and watch them fly by or even land on him. He liked watching birds and squirrels and would just lie there.

He loved licking little babies toes and when they laughed he would just wag his tail. I believed he knew that he was making them laugh. If a baby was crying he would bark.

He was the most precious and loveable dog I ever had and I miss him deeply.

I have a little black pug called Blossom. She's cute, funny, and just very sweet. After a hard day of working 12 hours I will come home. The first thing I do is take off my shoes and socks. She grabs my socks and starts shaking them around as if she's trying to kill them. It cracks me up everytime. Blossom is also very caring and in tune with my feelings. My cat had been very sick and was dying. Blossom woke me up last night in time for me to hold Faygo and pet him and tell him I love him. She stayed with me the whole time. That is a true friend!

I love my dog because I am at a time of major change in my life. I will be moving to a city where I know no one and leaving a boyfriend in a different country. He has no good reason not to come- but doesn't want to- our relationship will just be over.

No matter where life takes me my dog will always come. He will always need me and I will always need him. He is sweet, caring, affectionate, energetic, He will be great with the children I plan to have (he loves kissing our neighbour's 8 month old).

I love my dog sammy because no one talks or plays with my because I'm flat chested. He's the only one that will listen to me and not make fun of me. When all the kids play a trick on me and I'm crying at night he's the only one that sits on my bed and never leaves me. And when I smile he licks my face! I love my doggy so much! I dont beleive theres a better dog!

I have 3 dogs that I love VERY much.

My girl pomeranian is all mine and so sweet- she is a great cuddler. She's kinda chubby. She loves belly rubs ans going outside. She is Daisy.

My third dog, a girl chiuahwa, is named Chili. She will grab onto Roscoe's fur and never let go. She will follow me around like a shadow. She is so funny and loving and playful.

This is my 4 1/2 year old Welsh Terrier named Bodie. I love him because he always loves to be around me and loves and cares for me even if I yell at him or push him away. Also he is full of hilarious personaility and he's going to be the first dog I cry for when I dies. I cried for him when he got sick last year and I still don't know what happened, but red stuff was coming out of him and he was throwing up a lot. He got better because I stood by his side and cried.
I like how he listens to me also. We do dog agility and I know he wants to please me and listen to me because if he didn't, he'd walk away and chase birds and bunnies.

I love my dog because it is cute and it always begs me to take walks...Its so cute when it does that!!! Oh and by the way he is a Golden retriever! My dog loves catching sticks or frisbees and he loves the beach! Love your dog for the reason it loves you

I love my dog because he saved my aunt's life. She would have died from an asthma attack if would not have woke me up. He is also very smart. I love him because he is my first Golden Retriever and I have loved the breed since I was little.
