Wow- what an awful lot of jackass answers.
The answer- because despite 5000 years of hate, rejection, vilifying lies and repeated attempts at extinguishing, we prosper. We as a people have had to learn to thrive under adversary and never being truly accepted into our residential countries. And so we have. through discipline, determination and intelligence, we have.
People seem to resent that.

Well, I'm Jewish and I've never experienced envy from other people. Is that true? I have, however, experienced hate from other people from as far back as I can remember. I used to ask my parents about it when it happened....what did I ever do to make that person say that to me? They would tell me that some people cannot stand it when there are others who seem to be happy and thriving despite the fact that they don't accept Jesus as their savior. People who do not believe in the divinity of Jesus are not supposed to be happy; they are supposed to be miserable. So when they see you being happy and your family thriving, they get resentful and mean.

I have a jewish friend, and I sure like him. And how can I envy a fat loser who´s afraid of catching a ball, sucks at school, sports, fitness whatsoever and has no useful skills?

Just like Joseph was hated by his brothers, the Jews
(nation of Israel) is God's chosen people -- that makes
for envy and unfounded jealousy throughout the rest
of humanity. Satan, stirring stick keeps busy.

I noticed this even in the Koran they are put down and its interesting. My view is in the Bible it talks about the failures of the Jews in the past but people are full of pride so they point at the Jews and say we are better than you! But they are full of them selves. They don't realize they are no better than the Jews and need the forgiveness given by Jesus Christ even more than their neighbors. I also don't think Jews have to accept Jesus as their savior. Its a free choice and where would be the love if we coun't make that choice for our selves. I would recomend people do but in no way should people be put down or called names for not doing so. Jesus loves them as much as anyone and why would he do that to them. Some people are just insecure in the love of God and don't understand it.
