Guilty by association.. and if you were under the influence of the illegal substances he has, then you'd definitely have no way out of it.

You'd probably get a lesser charge, but you'd still be guilty for being with him. I know this situation all too well.

If he confesses that all the illegal stuff is his, then you will not get into trouble. Technically there are some cases where you could get into trouble. For example, if the illegal stuff is in the trunk of your car while you drive and he is a passenger. But if he admits to a cop that it is his and not yours, then almost all cops will only arrest him. And in any case that it is only on his person, they will only arrest him. If you don't trust him, and he claims it is yours, then you could get into trouble.

It depends on the laws of your state.

If you can demonstrate that you really didn't know about it --- which given your question might not be true -- then that would usually get you off the hook.

But if you do know about it, you could be charged as an accessory after the fact. Whether you would be convicted depends on the details of the situation.

WHAT STATE ARE YOU FROM . THE LAWS ARE DIFFERENT FROM STATE TO STATE. IF THE DRUG WAS ON HIS PERSON 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES HE WILL BE THE ONLY ONE TAKEN IN. BUT IF IT WAS IN A CAR OR A PLACE THAT YOU BOTH HAD ACCESS TO YOU WILL BE ARRESTED ALSO, UNLESS HE TAKES THE BLAME AND SAYS IT IS HIS.

The laws covering that vary from state to state. My advice would be to make sure that your boyfriend didn`t carry anything illegal,or if was going to,for you not to go anywhere with him.

It depends on what he has on him. If he has a small amount of drugs or something, you probably won't get cited. If he has a rocket launcher in his pants, then you will probably get cited as well. What exactly are you talking aboot?

Look up aiding and abetting.

The basics of it is that if you know about it, you are legally bound (believe it or not) to not only get away from it, but to turn him in.

as long as he has them in his pocket or somewhere on him then he will be charged.......but if its in the car like glovecapartment or councel and not on him personally . if you are driving you and he says its not his you will go to jail....but if he is driving and you say its not yours he will go to jail..or the police officers can take you both.
