Then it is YOUR responsibility to have them corrected. You are still responsible for what ever the documents involve.

If they are your documents, you correct them.
If you are named in a lawsuit between two other people, you inform the party that named you incorrectly, and tell them to fix it.
If you are named by an opposing, you can either tell them to fix it, or try to use it as a procedural tactic to get the case dismissed just to cost them more money.

then you need to contact the court with whom the records are filed and have your name corrected
