Easiest way to create a PDF file is to NOT create it using Adobe Acrobat. Instead use a word processor (such as MS Word) to create a document containing the picture. Most Word Processors are much much easier to work with the the Acrobat programs.

Once the document has been created, you pretend like you are going to "print" the document. From the File menu select Print (do not use the print icon as it will not give you a way to change the printer). Look in the list of available printer and you will find a listing for "Adbobe PDF". Select that as your printer. "Print" the file. You will be prompted for a location to save the file as a PDF.

Once the "printing" has completed, you will have a PDF version of the document on your hard drive.

That is a lot faster and easier then trying to use the PDF program to create the original document.

If in the future you need to edit the document, you simple editing the original word processor file, and then "print" it back to a new PDF file.

Hi Tom,

As long as you have professional or standard versions you can create PDF files from almost anything. I don't believe you can do so with the regular version of acrobat, that is designed to read files, not create them.

If you do have the standard or pro versions all you have to do is click the icon in the top that says "Create PDF".. it will open a dialog box asking you to select the files you want to use, you can select as many as you need. Then it will automatically create the PDF, all you have to do is name it. Viola!

If you need to get a better version click my link below and download at least the trail of the latest version. However, I cannot guarantee that that capability will be enabled with the trial versions.

Simple... just print the images to the PDF writer.
