I accept this offer because they only give me a couple days to consider the offer. I accept this because I didn't have other offer at that time and it could be helpful for my career. In fact, the pay is way under average. Now I have other interview and I wonder if I should go...

Sure you can, most likely something better that you were wating for came though. Just let your othe rcompany know this and say that you appreciate them taking theie valuable time to interview you and that you have decided to take the other opportunity based on whatever facts you want to give them. You do not owe them anything, they have only given you an offer and they should have back up people in the loop.

Good Luck

Yes, but I wouldn't do it expecting for a better offer at that place. You can accept and then decide you don't want the job after all, or accept and then get a better offer elsewhere and so not follow through...but that also may leave a bad taste in their mouth should you ever desire to seek employment there in the future.

Yes, but...

If you accept the offer today, and then decide tomorrow that you want to decline it and take another job instead, you need to let the first company know as soon as possible. BUT, realize that you could potentially be burning that bridge and most likely, they won't consider you for employment again in the future.

Ultimately, you need to do what is best for you, but just be upfront and professional about it in the process.

You can keep interviewing for as long as you wish. Depending on what you signed when you accepted the offer, you may or may not be legally obligated to begin employment. In most cases, you can renege on an offer you have already accepted with no ill consequences. if they lowballed you on pay, they kind of deserve to be left high and dry anyway.

Good luck!

There is a lot that goes in to an acceptance of an offer. I'd have to have more facts to answer the question accurately. Sorry. Just the way it goes.

Are you talking job offer, or some other kind of contract? Definitely more detail needed.

If job offer, you can, but you better have a good reason for it. A much better opportunity, major life event, etc. Otherwise, you will end up looking pretty bad.

But legal wise, no job can force you to work against your will.

Yes, as an employee you can do anything you want.

What you are risking, though, is making a bad name for yourself. Depending on your job, industry, etc., this may matter more or less.

According to the law it depends on what type of agreement it was. Was it online? Written? Verbal? By law you cant back out of any offer you agreed to, unless the other guy agrees to back out. He could sue you if you back out without his consent.

No. That would be unethical. Why?

People do it....but it screws up the company if they are telling you yes and other people no.
