so, yeah... i watched my poor sister go through this situation and i couldnt have handled it any better than she did.
basically -- she sorta/but not really/hooked up with this guy. basically they were extremely flirty, cuddling, hands all over each, laying down next to each other, etc., etc. you get the point.
(this guy also has a sort-of-girlfriend but that's besides the point, i think.)
anyway the morning after this my sister didnt say anything to this guy. he was quiet and when my sister told me i was pissed because he seemed like a jerk. anyway he didnt say **** to her. but maybe the bad mood was caused by my sister's bestfriend who was pissed at / jealous of my sister's interactions with this dude
soo basically why is it so awkward after!!

Probably cause they realized they dont like each other or know anything about one another after being sexual.

Well there is a simple answer for this question. 3rd party perspective. Imagine being intimate with someone and then have to deal with everyone judging you. So she hooked up, no accidents happened right? Everything was cool? If so, then just let it go because she wanted it just as much as he did, it takes two. But she should really think about getting emotionally attached to the guy . He definately has the potential to be deceptive. He has a girlfriend!!! Not cool. As for her friend, her friend is most likely looking out for her. If your sister has class, her friend wants her to remain that way. A girl should never settle for being the other woman, she needs to have more respect for herself. As for you, if you're friends with the guy, look for new friends, everyone knows that sisters are off limits!! Totally disrespectful.

It's awkward because in the morning after hooking up the people don't have the same feelings they had for each other as they did the night before. The morning after, try to start a conversation with one another, and if the other doesn't continue speaking, than assume he/she wants nothing more to do with you.

First of all, I am not judging you or your sister, But sin will never bring true happiness. True, they may not have slept together, but they both did something that they knew was wrong.
I tried it, I assure you. I just wish I would have learned sooner instead of later.
Peace be with you.

Most likely because they behaved inappropriately with a person they each did not really know well enough to even talk to when they are sober...
This is extremely risky behavior types.

Stay out of it-your sister made her silly decision what did she expect? Common sense tells us not to lay down next to someone, put our hands on someone and not expect to get laid.
how dumb can someone be?

To me if it is awkward afterwards, then it wasn't meant to happen. They should be happy about what happened between them. Tell your sister (and yourself) to be sure about who she messes around with to avoid this moments.

it's not when you are grown up and know how to handle it she shouldn't have gotten with this guy knowing he had a girlfriend that was the first clue that he wasn't right to begin with
