my boyfriend and I love eachother very much but want to try to be much closer than we are and to get away from all the fighting. Do you have any ideas of things to do and to enjoy being with eachother. I am 16 if that helps and been dating him for over a year now.

i know that feeling, but if the fighting persists its time to cut him loose, you are 16 after all and shouldnt be tied down to all the fighting. think about why you like him, if those reasons still apply. just try spend alone time at a park and let your hormones go from there.

Spend time more with your girlfriends and go to gym, shopping, find a job etc. You coudl see your boyfriend less but have a quality time together like cinema, restaurants, clubbing (if allowed) etc. Its just if you see each other too often , it changes relationship. Why so many marriages break down? Think about it. You need that sparkle. Make him jelous, but do not do anything stupid girl!

Make a list of what you need in a guy, another of what you can't stand, and another of things you don't care one way or another. Don't show him this list, but see how well he fits it.
Most fights at your age are from trying to change the guy into what you want him to be. The purpose of dating is to meet someone who is already a good match.

well good thing you put your age because half the people up here would of told you to have sex with him but thats only something to do if it is legal in your state and you are ready, I suggest to take walks around the block watch TV go bowling, go to a movie, a park, it really depends on where you live too, because I've been trying the same thing with my girl but live to far away to really know whats going on in those places. the best and most fun is to make out and talk about your future,

Get the Book of If from Barnes and Noble and sit and play it together. It's a book of If you.... questions. Some are fun questions, some are serious questions. Good way to get to know somebody better or open up for conversation.
