Wow I thought he sucked !!! Could have put my cat to sleep, oh wait he did !!!!!!!!
Espn really needs to do a better job on commentating I thought they were all terrible, besides Jarret.

How many reporters does ESPN need???? I counted like what nearly a dozen!!!! I understand the need for pit reporters and the guys calling the race, but what the hell is up with the extra booth of people? Is Dale Jarrett going to be a regular on the show?? Maybe they can throw M.W. in there for added sponsor exposure! If he doesn't make the race they can always advertise during breaks in the race breaks. Two sets of booth reporters, give me a break!!! And hey ESPN why couldn't you come up with newer commercials??? I've seen those commercials a million and half times, and that was like 2 years ago!!!

NO. I just cannot get into the commentators for ESPN. Now if they were to have Dale Jarret on full time and do away with Wallace that would be awesome. But for all the talk about ESPN being better then TNT, NBC, or Fox, I was not impressed. The one thing that I like, that completely blew me away, is they talked to not only the Driver, but also his crew chief. I thought that was awesome. If they did that every sunday, but with a different driver/crew chief, it would give me something to look forward to, even if they are talking to one of my least favorite teams.

i am really disappointed with ESPN i was waiting for them to come back, but what i have seen so far sucks. Why can't they do split screen like they did for the Indy 500? there are some good commentators out there, but they are in the pits, maybe take the best from speed, TNT and ESPN and put them together, ex crew chiefs and ex drivers are not commentators what is it with ex basketball players do nascar whats up with that

Rusty knows racing and is good as on the ESPN2 show, but he isn't the best on the air. Actually Dale Jarrett was the best thing they had this week because he couldn't qualify the #44 car for the race. Musberger was a fish out of water. Terrible.

ESPN had the worst coverage of all and Rusty was a stupid commentator. Dale Jarrett was pretty good.

I thought Jarret was good. I didn't care much for the remainder of the group. Would be nice to be able to take the best from all the race channels and put a GOOD group together!

I didn't care for Rusty either. Dale Jarrett was pretty good though. I always liked Dale as a driver and wouldn't mind him being a commentator more often.

dale jarret takes after his dad as a good commentator, Rusty takes after Waltrip, a blow hard without much of anything that is interesting to say.
I think Wendy Venturini should be the announcer. She really knows her shi.. stuff

Wallace = Snoozer

ESPN's Coverage of the Race = Half-As* Snoozer

HotPass Coverage w/out commercials = The only way to go.

I thought he was OK at best... Wouldn't go so far as to say he sucked, he added some interesting points every now and then (ok, not many, but still a few)
