house and started living in sin, doing drugs, and (GASP!) having kinky sex - would burn them and their children, born and unborn, to death? And then condemn them to an eternity of torment?

Your question doesn't make sense genius.

As a human, unable to see the future (and whether they might repent and turn around in the future like I did), or to know all the plans of time and space, it would be wrong for me to make such a judgement. Rather, the scriptures say that I should be in prayer for them, witnessing to them (by both words and lifestyle) and ready like the father of the Prodigal Son, to receive them without condemnation if they choose to return.

Besides, last time I checked, burning a person was illegal. Born a child for a parent's sin forbidden. And burn an unborn person impossbile.

So the answer, based on the Bible, would have to be no.

No. They'd come to their senses soon enough. Home is comfy.

*I understand the doing drugs and all, but what's so bad with kinky sex? What's your definition of kinky? Oh when you said religious did you mean christians? I guess they only like vanilla...

My religion doesn't have a belief in sin or deem any type of sex as kinky. The choice to do drugs is a choice (although I'd turn them in to the local authorities since it is illegal not immoral). So, no I wouldn't.

Are you asking would we burn our sinning son/daughter to death along with any of their own kids if they were blatantly sinning?

Answer: No way, that's not how God wants us to behave. If anything I would try to keep a door open to my son/daughter until the very end. Hoping that they see the error of their ways and repent.

If they were my child, I would still love them very much, and know that God, the Father loves them even more. Only the Power of the Holy Spirit can set people free from their bondage. I will Trust in the Lord!

Ya' know...

If I hadn't been super fast on my moto-cross bicycle and skateboard when I was a kid...

They probably would've caught ME, put me to the rack, burned me at the stake...

And then "beheaded" me...

But I grew into a "tolerant-but-resigned" adult who now knows ALL the Halloween tricks of the trade to avoid being persecuted and killed for my "non-beliefs..."

The "wise" man survives...and lives to be "sarcastically outraged" for a another day...

If anyone commits sins and does not accept Jesus Christ as their savior - they do have a very good chance of not making it into heaven. However children who are too young to make a choice would go to heaven.

i think they would torment themselves (or not). But the fact that it toments you shows that you are either worrying too much, or unsettled about the things that you named. Something that tortures you doesn't necessarily tortures others. But parents always worry, don't they?

My house, my rules. You choose to live by them, or to be out on your own. But remember, out on your own you're not subject to my protection either. And there is another god out there you're forgetting about. Why not blame the devil too?

I would do anything under my power for them. I would set a way to save them.
