I have heard that organ donation should be thought about deeply before signing an organ donation card. Jesus said "If the right eye makes you sin, then cut it off." "It is better you you to live in heaven without a right eye than to burn in Hell." So does that mean if I donate my heart to science after I die, I will not have a heart in heaven? Please, if you can, give Biblical references!

No. Your physical body does not affect your spiritual body in any way. You have no need for an part of your physical body after death.

The ancient Egyptians believed that they needed the entire body intact to be whole in the afterlife. However, when Christianity came along, the Egyptians, who were now Christian, no longer mummified themselves because they did not believe the body needed to be preserved. Most Christians end up decomposing or are even cremated.

This is how I think of it, the world is eventually going to be destroyed, so that means our bodies (even the mummies) will be destroyed as well. If the afterlife is supposed ot last forever, then we really don't need our bodies anyway.

Anyway, donating your organs is a very generous thing to do. You are giving someone else (or many others) a second chance on life. Besides, you're donating after you've already passed, and the Biblical reference you are making is occurring before death.

Trust God. Scripture tells us we'll go through life without that eye, but when we enter heaven we'll be complete. God is our Creator and more than able to return all body parts where they belong.
