Yesterday, my Pastor told us that the theory of evolution (or as he calls it, "evil-ution") is just a tool, used by the liberal media, to push it's anti-Christian agenda.

we and apes have common ancestors

Ya'll.. Its spelled Ya'll.

Obviously we are not evolved from monkeys nor an ape like creature that is a common ancestor. It is statistically impossible and it is not able to be tested in a lab. It isn't even a good hypothesis and in no way come close to being a valid theory.

It takes more faith to believe that life sprang from nothing and evolved into all its forms both plant and animal in the few billion years that the scientists say the earth has been around than it does to believe that there is a creator.

The odds are 10 to the 340 millionth power That's 10 with 340 million zeros behind it for all you educated atheist types. Statisticians will tell you something is impossible if its 10 to the 50th power.

And they think we are loony.. go figure.

No offense, but your pastor needs to get his facts straight.

Neither Darwin nor anybody in the "liberal media" ever said we evolved form monkeys.

What Darwin said was that we evolved from a primate. Might have been first cousin to apes, but as a species, we still are.

And most of the "liberal media" don't have any problem believing that God made the first man and the first women, and that they might have looked more like a cro-magnon than like you or I. Where in the bible does it say that Adam and Eve looked just like Ben and J-Lo?

Badmouthing "evil-ution" (so clever!) and the liberal media and everything that threatens him is your pastor's way of pushing his anti-Christian fundamentalist, put-yer-money-in-my-collection-plate agenda.

Just to clarify, the theory of evolution does not state that humans evolved from monkeys. It says that humans and monkeys had a common ancestor that was neither a human or a monkey.

Yes, your pastor was telling yahl correc tly. God tells us that HE created us and yes there is so much evidence of God and the Holy Bible being true. BUt the same ppl that push this false theories, of evolation, lies of the devil, are the same ones that run the media and they dont get all this info out, you have to look fo rit quite often. Here is my one quick take on evolution. PPL say well we cant see God, so we dont believe it. ok , lets go on that.
If I walk over to your house tonight with a brand new very spendy car with the keys and say it is yours. YOu say where did it come from? I said this beautiful perfect car, just fell out of the sky, someone jillions of miles up yesterday there was this giant explosion and it just fell to the earth perfectly in place with your name on it. YOu would laugh all the way to the title company with those keys, thinking oh crazy lady, its obvious thought about and planned out and desigtned, so perfectly made. Yet you have no clue where the gasses came from that explode with evolution, what caused it, who caused it, where did it all come from. YOu would know a car didnt just happen, but all of earth is just happenstance???? Gimme a break. Talk about needing a real leap of faith to grasp onto that one, yet athiests mock us Christian and call us stupid morals for believe the myth. Well if they can believe we came from an explosion that noone can explain, should be easty to sell them land on a swamp for a top price, hey? God says we are to call noone fools, but He tells us what a fool is. Those that wont believe in HIm and follow Him are the fools and they will lost it all, including their life to hell.
By the way do you see any half monkeys, half men left? ANy fossils of them? Things may evolve and change over time, due to age and the elements, but we dont change species. God created monkeys, God created fish, God created trees, all of it, and God created us. God tells us that one day ALL will know and bow to Him and call Him Lord. ALL, but by then its too late. WE must choose Jesus before we die or He comes again. Yes there is a huge plan since time began to crush the Christians, its run by the devil even when ppl dont know it The devil gets ppl to put such blinders on from sheer rebellion of SELF doing wnat they want to do, regardless to who they hurt or the consequences. BUt, all will die unless they repent and turn to God before its too late.
Lets pray they do. God is eager to forgive, because He loves us ALL so much.

All mammals evolved from a common ancestor. Primates just happen to be more closely related to us than say, felines....

*drink*

right because science is the work of the devil.

He is just saying that because he doesn't understand evolution and because he knows that with the increase in peoples understanding of science the thinner his ranks will become.

Anything the church says against science is just a pitiful attempt to keep followers.
