Being very new to the YA community, I do see it happening here and there, though the cliques tend to intermingle a little. You seem popular, but then again, I have only been on here for about a week, so I don't know a whole lot about the regs who are on here, but there does seem to be some nice people, and there have been some very good questions that I have enjoyed answering. I thank the people who have been nice to me since joining this forum, and the people who have been nice enough to choose my answer as a best answer. I am have fun, even if there are some really strange questions, and a few idiots :).

I don't know.. all I know is I like a number of people who answer here but don't see myself as part of any particular clique. I've been around awhile but tend to fly under the radar most times.

There are cliques all over this site...and I remember the odd feeling of being the new kid...=0)
Yes, you would be one of the popular kids.

Speaking as a relatively new-comer, R&S can be really confusing to come in from the outside. There are inside jokes, the drinking game, you don't know the names that people mention, etc. I don't know if there are cliques as much as one singular clique of regulars. If they do exist, of course you'e one of the popular kids!

I think there are cliques here.
I am no one special but I know who you are. I like what you have to say too. For whatever that is worth.

yep, and Deke is right, in some ways High School never ends. The good news is, when one of us - no matter which side we're on religiously gets attacked - like Rachel did last week, EVERYONE comes together to kill the troll/clone! It's reaffirming to know that regardless of belief, we can all pull together just out of humanity.

Non-Abrahamic Theists are do seem to be in the minority. Of course everyone is a misfit if you look close enough.
I just hang out with the Atheists because they are usually more fun.

Yep, insults, infighting, suspicion and drama, love, respect, amends and joy. It is a human cycle - of course there are cliques. It is our nature.

I learned early on in high school that life is not a John Hughes film, except for maybe "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
Life is not "The Breakfast Club."

there are- they were a bit more obvious a while back when "Jim Darwin/Mayor Sean" was in his heydays and all the games started- but there are still a couple left that I can see.
