Careless parenting comments only come from those with no kids.

I'm not saying people are atheists because of this. I'm saying this family might consider it.

"God" has nothing to do with this.

Careless parenting DOES.

This is why I don't let my kid out of my sight.

Sweet Pea why does the world blame everything bad on God. That is not how it works OK. See, sin was bought in to this world when Adam took of the forbidden fruit and that's how sin entered this world. The truth is God is real and he is loving and we Christian don't have to prove that it is written. When you think about how the earth is sitting in place in the solar system and how the grass grow and how the climate changes and a whole lot of other things its proof that their is a living God. See man can only make things of this world but open your eyes and your heart God loved us enough to send his son to die for us that way we may have a chance for eternity with him. I am sorry that baby died but it was a mistake and yes God does work in mysterious way but this wasn't his work, it was the work of the devil.

Ohhh, my heart just aches for that poor family.

A similar thing happened to a man named Marc Harrienger. He was outside shoveling snow, when his wife came out and said that she was going to move the car, and asked him to watch their young daughter. Well, the child ended up being crushed underneath a wheel of their car. Worse yet, that was their ONLY child. If I'm not mistaken, this is him:

This is a tragic accident, my heart goes out to that little girl and her family, and yes, even the father. Granted, he was careless, but he didn't intentionally kill his daughter, and now he will have to live with the grief and guilt his whole life.

God did NOT do this-
Why was a TODDLER- wandering around outside-- without the parents knowing where the child was????????
Sounds like human failure to me!

****RE: Your comment about poor parenting comments-- I have a child & I say it was poor parenting!

The same thing happened to friends of mine years ago. What helped them overcome this horrible tragedy was their faith in God and the prayers and support of Christian friends. And no, it didn't turn them into atheists.

I have a friend who lost a 12 month old and he has had a real tough time with the concept of God (R-Heaven) ever since.

I'm an atheist because the god idea is silly and there's no evidence for it ;op
