Here are some other names for sugars: 1) Maltodextrin; 2) Maltose; 3) Fructose; 4) Honey; 5) High Fructose Corn Syrup; 6) Mono and Diglycerides; 7) Sucralose; 8) Cane Syrup; 9) Brown Sugar, both light and dark; 10) Molasses; 11) Golden Syrup; 12) Glucose; 13) Polyglucosamine; 14) Glucose Solution; 15) There are so many others, I am not sure I can even begin to name them all. I will say this: Fructose and maltose, while sugars, are much less refined than white table sugar and spike the blood sugar much less. Maltose is from grains like barley. There is a rice syrup called "Yinnies" syrup that is also a lot easier on the blood sugar than sucrose. Fructose is from fruits, and is much gentler on my blood sugar as well. I do not find that sugar is the only culprit in weight gain. You will need to watch quantities of food and quantities of fat as well. About the only things you can eat to your heart's content if you want to loose weight are fruits, veggies, salsa, pickles and sauerkraut.

High fructose corn syrup is used as a sweetener in many foods and soft drinks. Although it has the same caloric value gram for gram as other sugars, HFCS seems to fail to trigger our sense of satiety. If we don't feel full, we eat even more.

But really, we gain weight because we consume more calories than we burn, regardless of whether we eat sugar, fat or protein. Certain foods may improve our chances of weight reduction, but we still have to decrease intake and increase exercise if we wish to lose.

Yup traditional sugar is k. However you shoudl still watch how much you eat and do not go overboard. Normal sugar does not provide you with that sugar rush thta preserve making you suppose like you need more the best way sophisticated sugars do like choclate bar or soda. So you'll be able to manage your weight and now not acquire with typical sugars.
