None of those are healthier. Sugars have no nutritional value, they are considered empty calories. They are all the same thing. White is refined, brown has the molassas still in it ans raw is unrefined. Calorie wise they are about the same, around 15 calories per teaspoon. Depending on your diet you are allowed some discretionary calories per day, sugar would fall into this category. If you are just drinking one cup per day, the sugar is not going to make a ton of difference. If you drink a lot more than that I would suggest working out a little extra to burn off the calories instead of cutting calories from something more nutritional.

I often wondered that myself. I saw a documentary concerning the affects of sugar as well as the differences in how sugar is refined. Here I have spending a ton of extra money on raw sugars when in fact it makes not one bit of difference. Sugar is sugar, whether it be refined or raw. Now honey is another alternative that deserves some investigating. Also the health food stores have many natural sweeteners.

I would go with raw. Conventional sugar is processed and whitened with bone char. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bone_char ) Brown sugar is white sugar sweetened with molasses.
Personally, I prefer my coffee black. I used to like it leaded, with milk and sugar, but I eventually weaned myself off of that when both were scarce at my fiance's, now husband's apartment. (I was there every weekend and he got me a used coffee maker and some coffee to keep there and he didn't always have milk and sugar, so I learned to drink it without.) However, when I do want something a bit sweet, I have found that vanilla soy milk is quite good for that. (I think it mixes better when the soy milk is added first, then the coffee. It's also very effective for quickly cooling the coffee.)
I hope this helps.

None of the above. They're all sugar and your body treats them all the same. Depending on your metabolism, take your choice or go to an artificial sweetner such as Splenda. Honey is just sugar too.

I learned to drink mine without sugar after 20 years of drinking it with white sugar. After my 15 year old daughter got bone cancer last year I did some research, and found out that sugar of any kind is the food for cancer cells.

splenda has been found to be addictive and not as good for you as people think. i would go Raw. there is a hawaiian brand of sugar that is perfect for what you want. it's called sugar in the raw. its actually big yellowish brown granules. maybe you have heard of it??
