We are a very young family of three and I would like to relocate to TX because it has been listed as one the best states to move to as far as quality of life/cost of loving is concerned. I am particularly interested in the northeastern region (Dallas/Ft worth region). I need to know how I can go about finding a job. I am educated/worked in the finance field (worked in NYC for 2 years). My company has no offices in TX. I would like to get a gig before I move so does anyone know of any agencies that can help with my situation? A lot of agencies I have talked to are asking me to move first then they will help me, I have a baby and I do not want to move without a job, too risky. I also wanted to know which are the best towns to consider when moving there, I mean I want to be able to get to work easily. My main concern though is how can I get a job when I am all the way in the east coast?

Try Monster.com for good job listings. Where can you live to get to work easily? Nowhere. Freeways are inadequate, always under construction. Traffic is horrendous. Nice area, though, is Garland. Hope that helps some.

You should plan a week when you can come for application and interview process. Try monster.com or even dallasnews.com. Also what is your profession? All little suburbs around the DFW area are pretty great. The cost of living is great and so are the schools. I live in Ennis, Tx. 30 min from Dallas and love it. My favorite part is the low crime rate. My children can play outside and I don't worry about strangers coming by to start trouble. It is just really unheard of. Good Luck.

monster.com, but the Murphy area; big houses, quiet neighborhood, lots of children, and the mall is down the street
