im getting my nose pierced soon, and its something i've wanted for a long time. but the only thing im concerned about is the pain. i have 2 cartilage piercings in the top of my ear, is the pain similar to that? or does it hurt more than that? also, can anyone tell me how long it takes to heal?

well i had my nose pierced when i was 13 &had to give a real big fight with my parents till i made them deal with the situation i was gonna have a noce piercing. and i did it, it looked so amazing and freakin cool on me. it didnt hurt that much, maybe the fact i was extremely happy that day made my pain less. it only hurts while the expert man pierces ur nose, but its not much pain. then it strarts bleeding but just a little. afterwards it doesnt hurt at all, ok maybe a bit but u gonna be like watching it on the mirror 24/7 and be so proud of and amazingly u wont notice the pain.
finally i had to take it off becouse of my school rules where they dont let people wear make up. damn them. they were all very stiff =[

As with all piercings, it varies from each person. Usually its just a short sting, then a bit tender for a few days there after, possibly not as painful as cartilidge. 6-12 weeks for healing, but can take a bit longer depending on your body and how much it gets knocked. Just becareful and look after it, and it will heal and look good, good luck :)

No it does not hurt so much i also i just had my nose pierced. It may take about one week to heal but it does not pain so much i mean the pain is bearable... But take care of your nose well

it takes several weeks to heal some of my friends gotten their noses pierced they have experienced pain getting pierced but after that no more pain.it should take a few days up to a week for it to heal so be strong.

no. your pierce at the top of the ear is more painful..
2-3 weeks i suppose.. it actually depends. others will heal a month
