Everything Hollywood "not the city but the industry" stands for, within many movies, music, fashion, lifestyles, sex/porn industry, is a total opposite of God's word. They are basically satanic, it seems, and glorify everything God would say no to. They are not only poisoning California, but the country as well. Also, that radiates to the world.
Sure, you can not buy into it and ignore it, as many people would say, but it isn't that easy. It's coming to a point now where people judge you ONLY on your outside appearance, and god forbid you're not up to the "Hollywood" standards, you get pushed aside. How is that Christian? Well wake up, it's happening all over!
The Music industry, okay you have talent, but most of it is drivel and the messages they spread are total BS. Fashion is perhaps the worst offender.
Actually no, sex/porn is. Playboy/Playgirl?? Countless websites?
Even something as "innocent" as comic books. Still total bs, kid stuff.
Is there an agenda!? or.

There was a movie, a bs movie, called Scary Movie, forgot what part, where Carmen Electra's character walks inside of a chuch and takes a huge, loud dump. lol, it shouldnt be funny if you're christian, but it is.
They seem to mock God, and seem to basically do everything and anything to rebel.
It's so ingrained in our society today that people don't give it a second thought.
Horror movies have become comedy.
People talk using slang, something of a few years ago is now "old school." It's all devolving into a huge pop-culture meaningless, and shallow, youth oriented culture.
It's sad.

Did you only just wake up? You sound shocked. You seem to have read at least some of God's Word, what did you miss? Do you not understand?

It's the same thing He did to Pharaoh in Exodus. Pharaoh could have chosen to do what God commanded or not. He continually hardened his heart against God. After a time, if you pay attention you will see, that GOD hardened his heart so that he was unable to do what God said. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked. For whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." The wages of sin is death, but the penalty for sin is more sin. If we show that that's what we truly want, that's exactly what we get. He gives us all opportunity after opportunity to choose to serve Him, but after a point and after continually choosing not to, He hardens our hearts so that we can't.

Odd. I've seen many movies that involve heaven and hell and treat christian beliefs as pure fact. So EVERY movie doesn't tell you how right your religion is, get over it. It's not an agenda of hate towards you. They're out to make money by entertaining EVERYONE, not just the religious. However, did you really expect Scary Movie to be for christians? If you guys want clean, christian movies then go make some and don't bother watching the good entertainment we'll be enjoying. Your presence in the theater won't be missed.

There's nothing new about products out of Hollywood being areligious. It's what entertains. If you want clean, wholesome fun there's plenty out there for you. Disney, kids movies, or anything rated G should suit you just fine. However, for the most part these are escapist and unrealistic.
If you want to see some real crap, check out what's being produced by the Christian set. The "Left Behind" series was comical. "Songs 4 Worship" and the other Christian rock albums are hilariously bad.

Listen if you do not like a movie or a TV show do not watch the movie and change the channel.
Let me guess shows like 7th heaven should be the only shows allowed?

They seem to be able to mock everything anyone takes seriously. But you think Christians have it bad in Hollywood! Every Muslim character is either a suicide bomber, Taliban sympathizer, wife beater, hijacker, plotting to kill the American president, and they ALWAYS have the most horrible Arabic accents, lol! Sometimes they don't even make cohesive (Arabic) sentences, lol!
Indie films have so much more substance!
