I do not believe in the miracles of Jesus. They are the same kind of legends attributed to legions of two-bit holy men, wandering philosophers, and savior-gods of the time.
We have all of these recurring legends, and you want me to believe that in this one case they were true? Why? Because some Caesar converted and made Christianity a state religion by force? I'm afraid that doesn't add any credence to the mythology.

It's not his words that I reject but it's his miracles that I doubt. I also have problems with other people's interpretations of his words. That includes the bible as it was written well after his lifetime by people that had an agenda.

I am a believer in Christ and God. I try not to disobey THE WORD" but like all humans I make mistakes. WE are all on the same path but at different places on that path.

Whether Jesus existed or not, I'm hip with his general philosophy. What I would like to know is why you believe he performed miracles. You intentionally deceive yourself for a period of time until you are conditioned to take it for granted that so many things in the bible or in the Christian culture are fact.

Actually, I believe Jesus was a great moral philosopher. I believe highly in his words, those which were recorded properly. I don't believe he ever performed any miracles.

I love those words - they give meaning to my life. And I have no doubt that Jesus did miracles, especially not after having seen at least one myself: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApYivxqSPMWWigD2LZVJCDbsy6IX?qid=20070617055115AAIQzhe

Buddha was walking on water and saying parables 500 years before christ. Christianity has nothing original at all, not a thing.

Because turning the other cheek is a physical strain, and doing unto others is creepy.

I don't believe in either, as there is no evidence to promote such a belief. Eye witnesses are invalid as there are no 3rd party accounts separate from the Bible.
