I recently learned about a certain time period in a Christians life. We have learned that this thing starts when someone starts to like someone for the first time. This is a time when the person has to separate from realtionships to be closer to god. There is this guy that I like and I think that this started because he liked me , and we were wondering how the person acts while they are going through this, because during the time when we thought he was going through it he had an attitude and it seemed like he didn't want me around him. Towards the end of the school year he was his old self again and he was even nicer and a better friend. Please explain this time period, so I can understand it better.

I think by looking at it from a Christian perspective you're making it a lot more difficult than it needs to be.

Maybe he was afraid that the relationship was going too fast. People should court not date. Dating is like if you like someone, then ok, and if not, dump them. This attitude tends to follow into marriage. So courting is looking at a relationship from a marriage stand point.
