Humans cannot exist without a "fantasy life"; most of us have fantasy lives that others may find bizarre, weird, or even repulsive. Indulging in fantasies gives your brain a chance to relax and destress. Most of the things people fantasize about are things they would never actually do.

Fantasizing can be both helpful and harmful and is too complicated to discuss in Yahoo Answers. Short answer? You're probably normal like the rest of us!

I think that you must be very creative...........so, why not start writing these things down, and you may find that you are a writer at heart. Don't worry about the spelling, just start writing the things down that don't exist. When you write the things down, you can start sorting out the real things from the 'creative things' and make good use of both.

...you're feeling conflicted right now Art....so go take some time out for yourself and go see a therapist for some self corrective thinking evaluations otherwise. Sex IS important in one's life dude.....but it certainly shouldn't be the first thought that comes flying out of the frying pan in the morning my friend! Seek help and don't be afraid to ask for some reasonably. We ain't perfect dude........and neither is anyone else unfortunately....so seek help and have some patience about it too...OK? Rome wasn't built and destroyed in a day my friend....it all took time to come to a screeching halt otherwise. Don't halt yourself right now reasonably. There'll be plenty of time to work on that later.....like when we're six feet under...........YIKES!!!

How can you be attracted to something if it doesn't exist. That's impossible. You can only be attracted to things that are real; unless your talking about being in love with the idea of being in love. In that case it sounds like you're afraid of being hurt.

Your view of reality is off. You need to take a look at the world AS IT REALLY IS. My guess is that as a child you weren't really given much attention so you developed a great imagination world. That imagination, while serving it's purpose maybe in a job, isn't helping you in the real world.

Because you have been dabbling in sin. By doing so you opened yourself up to evil spirits to bring these things to your mind. Don't invite them to stay but ask them to leave. Run to the cross of Jesus Christ as fast as your heart can carry you there and repent of your sins. Let His blood cover your sins and wash them clean. He will change your thoughts, desires, and entire being to where you will no longer be a slave to or yield your bodily members to sinful lusts anymore.

Well, there's the cliche that we always want what we can't have.

Maybe it seems safe for you to fantasize about things you can't pursue, since that way there is no chance you will have to act on your fantasies?
