Hello,

Enough said about double negatives so I'll assume you mean " agree " that same sex marriage laws are constitutional.

OK, when a law is passed by the governments, ratified by the senate (in my country) it becomes constitutional alright.
However it does not mean the law is mentally recognized, accepted, just or good in the first place so citizens who believe it is wrong have the right to denounce it and if willing to face the penalties, refuse to comply with it or initially fight its passage in the first place. Your Joe Crow Laws and the Nazi Nuremburg laws were also very constitutional but...

Edit - Angel but doesn't that beg the question as to what is love to some cultures or religions in a society may be evil immoral or taboo to others. What about the many groups of people that have a real love and physical attraction for someone 13 - 17 for example and is tolerated in some other countries and cultures. Many in this day and age are sexually active at that age but society still shuns that (rightfully so). So is "love" in itself a necessary criteria for passing such laws?

I can't understand how people can mix religion with politics when the Constitution has Separation of Church and State.

Many people above are saying that it's "immoral". That I can't understand! How can love, in any form, be immoral? Isn't the basis of most moral codes to love one another???

Killing a person is immoral, right? Stealing from another is immoral? Cheating is immoral? But how can love between two consenting individuals be wrong?

And quoting the Bible? Morality does not have basis in Bible, sorry to anyone who thinks so. There are countries, cultures and peoples in this world who have an upstanding moral code, but don't follow your Bible. This includes all the atheists in the world too, who follow no religion what-so-ever.
You can't force one standard of morality on an entire country based upon a religion when there are hundreds of different nationalities & religions in that country which disagree with you.

EDIT:
The "you" is the plural form, not the singular form. :-D

Even though you used two double negatives, I think I understand what you mean.
Christians, even if they belong to the same religion are still individuals, with their own individual thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Also their pasts are all different. Therefore all their opinions regarding any issue may be on the complete opposite ends of the next. It may depend on what religion they belong to as well. Some religions, all members believe the same thing, almost like programed robots. In other religions they are free thinkings. And there is everything in-between. I hate labels, and this is just one example of why.

I don't think Christians by-and-large think homosexual marriage is unconstitutional. That's why there was a movement to amend the constitutional to make it unconstitutional. If it was already unconstitutional there wouldn't have to be a movement to make it unconstitutional.

Christians think it's illegal, and in most places in the country it still is. Illegal means against the law. Not everything that is against the law is unconstitutional.

Its not a matter of being constitutional or not it only matter what the bible says and therefor if a man lusts after another man and do unnatural things with him it is an abomination to the lord. You cannot hide behind the constitution on Judgment day.

Do I understand you correctly? Are you asking, "Christians, can you agree that homosexual marriage is contrary to the constitution (ie unconstitutional)?" ???

The constitution is man-made, and it can be changed based on popular vote. God's Word is eternal, and God won't change His mind about these things.

Frankly you have the same rights I bled for. If they aren't good enough then find some place that is. I'm much more concerned with your soul and the damage you are doing to your spirit than your interpretation of constitutional issues.
God Bless!

The reason that christians can't not agree that homosexual marriage isnt not unconstitutional is because they are not unaware that this non-issue is not un-absent from the non-political non-issue un-forum!

can't I not? that h-m isn't not?
who cares whether or not it's constitutional, it's immoral and unbiblical and homosexuals will be found in hell one day, unless of course they repent of their wicked ways, according to Revelation 21:8 and leviticus 18:22 and 23.
