Should I take cod liver oil pills? I want to start eating healthy, so I don't become fat, is this a good idea?

Cod liver pills won't hurt you (so long as you don't overdo them), but you may have "fish burps" from time to time which are pretty nasty.

It would be better if you could just work some fish into your diet on a regular basis. Most of the special nutrients you get from fish are fat-soluble, which means they stay in your system for a few days. That's good, because it means that you don't need to ingest them every single day for them to do your body good.

My advice would be to eat some fatty fish (salmon, tuna mackerel) at least once a week. More is not necessarily better, you don't have to start eating fish 4 times a week or anything like that! And you can work cod in, too, if you'd like. Cod doesn't have the high percentage of omega-3 fatty acids that the fish I mentioned above do, but it tastes good. Much better than cod liver oil!

i think that would be unnecessary. If you want to eating healthy do just that. If you think you need a pill take a multivitamin. Also, omega fish oil pills have been shown to be beneficial to give you the good fats you need. Or you could just eat fish which will give you the same fat.
